Years ago I was introduced to this guy who looked as clean-cut as a bar of soap who said he was a "dee-pee-oh-two" and a fellow veteran (he chaplaincy, me artillery) and, when he could, studied New Testament, Coptic, and other esoteric stuff along with the rest of us bush-tailed doctoral students and freshmen scholars working on Nag Hammadi at the Institute for Antiquity and Christianity, while Peggy studied law.
